Thank you to those who have already contributed to the campaign, such as Computing Sciences who inspired their BankSeta students to contribute to the campaign and ICT Services (Wendy Cameron and Nontobeko Lubambo in the photo) have collected a large number of tin cans which they donated towards the project.
We also know that other colleagues have been mobilising their own Mandela Magic as part of celebrating Mandela 67 Minutes. Thank you to:
# Finance, who visited Cheshire Homes where they donated muffins, yoghurt, fruit and juice as well as well as provided musical entertainment for residents during their visit. They also collected money to donate.
# The Innovation Office, who purchased food parcels for 23 families in need within the Greenbushes community from money they donated. They also collected and donated clothing to neighbouring farm labourers whose families lost everything in the Thornhill fires.
# Computing Sciences, who are working on the Santa’s Shoebox campaign and
# The Payroll Division staff who personally covered the cost of re-branding and re-designing our Infoslips.
