Change the world

27/03/2017

We would like to get a sense of what this all means for our University by engaging with staff and students through small group conversations in the lead-up to the official name change launch of Nelson Mandela University later this year.

·         What does the name Nelson Mandela mean to you?

·         What does it mean for our University?

·         How do we make our new name come to life?

·         How do you see your/our future at Nelson Mandela University?

We would like to get a sense of what this all means for our University by engaging with staff and students through small group conversations in the lead-up to the official name change launch of Nelson Mandela University later this year.

The conversations are an opportunity to be part of this exciting process towards embracing the name of one of the greatest icons – a man whose humble beginnings, values and hopes resonate with our present hopes for a transformed and better future for all.

If you would like to be part of the Name Change Conversations (small groups of 10 to 15 people with optional venues and time slots to be shared at a later date), then please respond by forwarding your details to elma.dekoker@nmmu.ac.za

The Name Change Conversations will take place from 18 April to 30 June at various venues during 90-minute sessions across all campuses. A facilitator will be joined by a scribe who will capture feedback from the conversation.

We look forward to hearing from you.
